Welcome to my website.

I'm Laura K. Lawless, a full-time freelancer (mostly on the web).

In addition to working full-time as the French Language Guide at About.com, I also run websites on Spanish, English, and vegetarianism, have written seven books, and dabble in translation and editing.

In past lives I've worked as a short-order cook, corn detassler, administrative assistant, and ghostwriter, but in 1999 I was fortunate enough to find About.com (née Mining Company) and start working on the web.
