		<description>Interesting question. Even though it&#039;s not a can, if I had to come up with a name for it, that&#039;s what I would say - pass the can of Parmesan. I just asked my husband and he agreed (I&#039;m from Illinois and he is from Pennsylvania, if that helps.) But we both agree that we&#039;d be far more likely not to refer to the container at all - we&#039;d just say &quot;Please pass the Parmesan.&quot; Hope this helps!  :-)</description>
