Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland - Belinda Jones - 4 hearts awardIf you’re ready to visit a snowy paradise, you could do worse than to read reading Belinda Jones’s Winter Wonderland. A hands-on travel agent is at Québec’s Winter Carnival, where she meets handsome and mysterious men with secrets and secret identities.

The story was fun and light-hearted and the descriptions of scenery and food are wonderful. However, I felt the “mystery man” (no spoilers) was a bit overdone, especially toward the end. There are a few editing problems, such as when the protagonist is surprised to learn that the Iditarod is a thousand miles, after already having mentioned that fact twice. Also, there are several abrupt scene changes with no space or *** or whatever to indicate the break (though I wonder if maybe that’s only in the Kindle version). All in all, a fun read.
