The story was fun and light-hearted and the descriptions of scenery and food are wonderful. However, I felt the “mystery man” (no spoilers) was a bit overdone, especially toward the end. There are a few editing problems, such as when the protagonist is surprised to learn that the Iditarod is a thousand miles, after already having mentioned that fact twice. Also, there are several abrupt scene changes with no space or *** or whatever to indicate the break (though I wonder if maybe that’s only in the Kindle version).
