He talks about books, he meets a woman, he drinks a rare brand of hard cider &#8211; and that&#8217;s pretty much it. There&#8217;s not a whole lot of plot to this book, it&#8217;s really just about his day to day life, with lots of pop culture references and a few unusual occurrences here and there. It was an enjoyable read, but it never really drew me in &#8211; I kept waiting for something to happen, but even when it did, there was no sense of progress. I guess the bottom line is that I didn&#8217;t feel any sense of cause and effect; stuff just happened at random intervals and there was no cohesion to it.
