And it is sad, in parts, but it is also beautifully written and I really liked it. The grief is palpable at times, but the tender humor and real-life situations are totally believable. It&#8217;s not a novel that I&#8217;ll be able to enjoy a dozen more times, but it&#8217;s definitely worth reading.
