What was the happiest day of your life?
The happiest day of my life so far was either the day I paid off my student loans (which were so high that my then-boyfriend broke up with me, for fear that he would somehow end up having to help pay them) or the day I quit my “real” job and started freelancing full time (which happened to be 1 January 2000). One might think that my wedding day would be the happiest, but since we’d already been together for 6 years, the wedding was just a formality.
The happiest day of my life yet to come will be the day that I move to France (which is still completely up in the air – no response to my visa appeal yet).
What was the happiest day of your life?

Laura, why make it so
complicated? password and all that?
Just curious to know is anyone else there that cannot
decide about which is the happiest day of their life?

That is a tough question. So far, I’d have to say the day I brought my adopted
daughter home from Guatemala.
I’d also put up in the top ten:
1 – Breeding and
showing the first Bicolor Oriental Shorthair grand in the Cat Fanciers Association
2 – The
first time I had a French conversation with a native speaker and didn’t mangle it too badly
3 – The day recently when I learned I would be following the Meerkats in the Kalahari
desert with Earthwatch next summer
4 – The day many years ago I quit smoking.
5 – The day
I had my face lift a few years ago.
Yet to come? When I can take the time to go to
France for my immersion experience!
